AI Software Engineer (Italian Speaker)

Location: Fully remote, based in Italy, with occasional in-person presence in Milan or Bologna as needed

Gross annual salary: EUR 26,000–50,000; basic salary only, with the variable component detailed in the offer.

What you will do

• Implement Python solutions using generative AI models and bring them into production.
• Structure cloud projects using AWS serverless architectures and expose solutions through APIs.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, Docker packaging and deployment, and Terraform-based infrastructure as code.
• Build shared libraries and frameworks for internal use by multiple teams.
• Document solutions, share results, contribute to architectural evolution, and collaborate with business stakeholders.
• Contribute to the spread of generative AI knowledge within the organization.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python.
• At least 2 years of proven experience using generative AI models in real projects, including areas such as prompt engineering or RAG.
• Familiarity with embedding and semantic-search tools such as Pinecone.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs.
• Practical AWS experience, especially with serverless services.
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, and Docker.
• Applied research mindset with experimentation and rapid prototyping abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to shared solutions.
• Good English and fluent or native Italian are required.
