Head of Content (AI)

Location: New York City, NY; onsite five days a week

Annual base salary: $75,000–$130,000 USD, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own video production from research and concepts through hooks, scripts, filming, editing, captions, and publishing.
• Create short-form videos and ad creative for Meta and Instagram, as well as short-form and long-form YouTube content.
• Build the founders’ LinkedIn presence through video and written content that reflects their voice and provides useful information.
• Produce product demos, launch videos, and software explainers for SMB and enterprise audiences.
• Plan the content calendar with the Head of Growth, test original formats, and improve creative using audience feedback and performance data.
• Contribute to product marketing and special projects, including landing page copy and design, lifecycle campaigns, brand initiatives, and AI-assisted research and production.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience; aptitude, creative judgment, and work quality are valued more than resume length.
• Strong video portfolio demonstrating polished, engaging content and the ability to explain creative decisions.
• Experience creating, editing, and experimenting with videos through personal accounts, side projects, internships, or work for other companies.
• Strong instincts for hooks, storytelling, pacing, sound, captions, and visual presentation.
• Ability to take an idea through to a finished video with ownership, initiative, and consistent execution.
• Clear written and spoken English, curiosity about software and AI, and interest in understanding the product and its users.
• Comfort working closely with a small team, receiving feedback, and trying new approaches.
• Experience building an audience through produced content; examples should show attention, engagement, or audience growth, with the candidate’s personal contribution explained. There is no minimum follower count.
