Senior Systems Administrator, USG Program

Location: San Francisco, United States; U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status required.

Base salary: $135,000–$205,000 USD per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot JWICS, CWAN, and associated TS/SCI systems.
• Manage classified servers, workstations, network devices, operating systems, applications, patches, user accounts, permissions, and system services.
• Resolve hardware, software, authentication, connectivity, and performance issues while maintaining system availability.
• Implement approved security configurations and STIGs; support vulnerability remediation, patch management, compliance, logging, monitoring, and audits.
• Identify and report security incidents, unauthorized activity, vulnerabilities, and anomalous behavior while enforcing least privilege and separation of duties.
• Support system upgrades, technology refreshes, hardware replacement, decommissioning, accreditation, and collaboration with ISSM, COMSEC, Industrial Security, Physical Security, and government representatives.

Requirements

• Experience administering and troubleshooting classified systems, including servers, workstations, network devices, and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience supporting classified system accreditation and cybersecurity compliance activities.
• Current CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification compliant with DoD Directive 8140.
• Ability to work in a TS/SCI classified environment and maintain applicable IC, customer, RMF, cybersecurity, COMSEC, and classified-information security requirements.
• U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status is required to comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations.

Nice to have

• SCI and/or Special Access Program experience.
• Previous COMSEC Custodian or COMSEC Manager experience, including government COMSEC training and certification.
• Experience supporting DCSA Security Reviews and government inspections.
• Experience with eMASS, ACAS, Nessus, SCAP, or similar cybersecurity tools.
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certification.
• Experience with AWS or Azure Classified Cloud.
