Solutions Architect - Digital Natives and Startups (Data & AI)

What you will do

• Build client relationships and provide technical and business value in collaboration with Account Executives.
• Lead hands-on evaluations, programming, proofs-of-concept, and integrations with cloud ecosystems and third-party applications.
• Advise customers on architecture, design, implementation, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Create reference architectures, how-to materials, and demo applications.
• Contribute to technical workshops, seminars, meet-ups, and the wider Databricks technical community.
• Develop expertise as a technical and/or industry specialist.

Requirements

• Fluency in German and English is required.
• Pre-sales experience is mandatory.
• At least 7 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or related customer-facing technical roles.
• Experience engaging customers in technical sales, challenging questions, guiding outcomes, and communicating technical and value propositions.
• Structured approach to guiding customers and ability to build customer relationships and internal partnerships with Account Executives and other teams.
• Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, SQL, or Java, plus willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
• Hands-on proficiency with Big Data Analytics technologies and complex proofs-of-concept on public cloud platforms.
• Experience discovering use cases, scoping requirements, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to audiences with different levels of technical depth.
