Boeing - Wichita Summer 2027 Internship Program (Paid) - Manufacturing Engineering (Aerospace)

Location: 100% onsite in Wichita, Kansas, United States; first shift

Pay: $20.55–$34.42 per hour

hirify.global, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, designs and builds commercial aerostructures including fuselages, pylons, nacelles, and wing components using composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing build plans, methods, and work instructions.
• Support production issues, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Evaluate producibility, process capability, tooling, equipment, and factory readiness.
• Improve manufacturing processes for safety, quality, cost, flow, and cycle time.
• Work with mechanics, quality, design engineering, and operations while receiving mentorship and hands-on exposure to manufacturing and engineering facilities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Available to work full-time during Summer 2027 and onsite in Wichita, Kansas.
• Employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Major in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Systems Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Passion for the aerospace industry and interest in a Boeing career.
• Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations.
• Ability to relocate and work onsite; relocation is offered based on candidate eligibility.
