Data Analyst I (Healthcare)

Location: Remote-MO and other specified U.S. remote locations

Salary: $27.02–$48.55 per hour

What you will do

• Support CMS data integrity and external audit activities through data validation, reconciliation, reporting, and issue investigation.
• Manage data review processes, mass data entry, maintenance, and update projects.
• Complete data audits and evaluations within core systems and identify complex data integrity issues.
• Resolve mass change updates, reconciliation projects, and operationalization of data from multiple sources.
• Analyze workflow and data integrity problems, recommend resolutions, and advise management.
• Create internal and external status reports and reconcile provider, claims, and membership data using Access, Excel, Business Objects, and other reporting tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience.
• Experience using SQL and Business Intelligence tools is preferred.
• Experience with data quality, audit, compliance, regulatory reporting, or operational reporting initiatives is preferred.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to investigate issues, validate findings, and support data-driven decisions is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Healthcare, Medicare, Medicaid, regulatory, audit, or compliance experience is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
