Consultant, IT Quality Assurance

What you will do

• Lead the investigation and translation of business requirements into test cases.
• Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for projects across the business.
• Create test plans, testing strategies, estimates, and defined testing approaches and work packages.
• Assign and oversee test-case execution, ensuring deliverables align with project timelines, budgets, goals, controls, and standards.
• Identify risks and obstacles, provide project status updates, communicate with stakeholders, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Provide technical leadership, feedback, support, and mentorship to testing team members.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software development testing, test automation, and software process improvement.
• Experience leading testing delivery and complex testing initiatives across multiple technical areas.
• Ability to resolve testing issues at all levels and provide advanced technical leadership.
• Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, leadership, mentorship, troubleshooting, and project coordination skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and, where applicable, hold a valid work or study permit.

Nice to have

• Experience writing and executing SQL queries.
• Software development experience with Java, C#, Python, VBScript, or similar technologies.
