Lead Quality Assurance Developer

What you will do

• Own QA strategy, quality gates, risk-based testing, readiness criteria, traceability, resource planning, test data, environments, and timelines.
• Lead integration, functional, regression, automation validation, performance, data validation, cutover, production validation, and release readiness testing.
• Direct QA analysts, testers, automation resources, developers, vendors, and business partners by setting priorities and removing blockers.
• Manage test cycles, plans, labs, permissions, project setup and closure activities using Value Edge and related tools.
• Report execution progress, defects, coverage, risks, blockers, metrics, and release readiness to program leadership and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate defect triage, ensure requirements and process traceability, mentor team members, and improve automation coverage, governance, and reusable testing assets.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software QA experience, including leadership of QA teams, test workstreams, or enterprise testing initiatives across Agile and waterfall models.
• Strong end-to-end testing experience covering strategy, planning, scripting, execution, defect management, metrics, risk, release validation, and production readiness.
• Hands-on experience with integration testing, test automation, SAP, third-party and internally developed applications, data validation, deployment verification, and release management.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate decisions, coach teams, manage priorities, and produce executive-ready dashboards, KPI summaries, defect analyses, risk assessments, and release recommendations.
• Expertise with Value Edge and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, qTest, TestRail, Confluence, Excel, or Power BI.
• Working knowledge of automation, CI/CD, API testing, version control, build systems, and integrations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
• ISTQB, CSTE, Agile, Scrum, or project management certification.
