Sr. Quality Assurance Developer (AI)

Salary: CAD 81,600–122,400 per year

What you will do

• Conduct quality control testing to verify that software meets specified standards and end-user requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop test strategies and scenarios.
• Collaborate with leads and managers on test plans, schedules, and testing effort estimates.
• Design, script, and maintain automated tests and test environments.
• Plan diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, execute tests, complete specifications and procedures, and document results.
• Debug software through systematic testing and maintain product quality standards.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field and 5+ years of enterprise software QA experience.
• Experience with both on-premises and cloud-based applications.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Experience testing enterprise applications, APIs, and backend services hosted on Linux servers.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation scripts in C#.
• Experience testing with Docker and related containerization technology, plus Kubernetes or related orchestration software.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Ability to analyze information, draw accurate conclusions, and prepare test reports.
• Good understanding of QA methodology and the product development life cycle, with strong problem-solving, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Passion for quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with load, stress, and performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies to improve software quality, testing efficiency, and automation coverage.
• Exposure to test automation tools such as Playwright.
• Experience with GitLab.
