Sr. Software Developer (Test Automation)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Maven, and TestNG or JUnit.
• Build reusable page objects, utilities, test data components, and assertions using the Page Object Model and established design patterns.
• Develop automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for web applications.
• Implement API automation with REST Assured or similar Java-based tools to validate services and business workflows.
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions, including parallel and cross-browser execution through Selenium Grid or cloud platforms.
• Improve test stability and diagnostics, collaborate on coverage and defects, conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and own automation components through continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development or test automation experience with strong Java-based automation expertise for enterprise applications.
• Strong Java programming skills, including object-oriented design, collections, exception handling, and reusable software components.
• Extensive Selenium WebDriver experience, including locator strategies, explicit waits, dynamic elements, frames, windows, and browser interactions.
• Hands-on experience with Maven and TestNG or JUnit, including dependency management, build configuration, parameterization, assertions, test lifecycles, and parallel execution.
• Proven experience designing automation frameworks with the Page Object Model, data-driven testing, and modular design principles.
• Experience with REST Assured, SQL, relational databases, and JSON processing for API testing, test data preparation, and backend validation.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Selenium Grid, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs, including collaborative development and automated test integration.
• Strong knowledge of test design, defect management, Agile, and the software development lifecycle, plus strong troubleshooting, communication, mentoring, and ownership skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Cucumber, BDD, Docker, or JMeter.
