Requirements Engineer

What you will do

• Extract, validate, maintain, and publish machine, spare-parts, and partner data in Energy Shop, including data from SAP.
• Act as the primary contact for Energy Shop questions and support internal stakeholders across functions.
• Gather requirements, prioritize feedback, and collaborate with development teams on platform improvements.
• Test, validate, and implement new features and enhancements.
• Identify and resolve data-quality issues, manage backlogs, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Monitor and report KPIs while improving data flows, process efficiency, automation, AI-supported workflows, and data governance.

Requirements

• Experience with spare-parts catalogs, product information systems, or e-commerce platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of master data management, data governance, and data-quality principles.
• Experience with SAP and large datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate effectively in a global environment.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with requirements gathering, process improvement, or digital platform development.
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar analytical tools.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, gas turbines, or industrial service operations.
