Specialist, Structural Analysis (FEA/FEM)

What you will do

• Perform structural and strength analyses using FEA/FEM methods for product development, project execution, service activities, and troubleshooting.
• Provide structural analysis expertise for boilers, flue gas cleaning systems, and related products.
• Evaluate structural integrity, material behavior, and mechanical performance to support design decisions and product improvements.
• Develop and continuously improve analysis methods, tools, and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with product development teams, project organizations, and technical specialists to solve complex engineering challenges and improve product performance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in structural analysis and strength calculations, including hands-on use of FEA/FEM software.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles and welded steel structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently lead complex analysis work, provide technical guidance, and drive topics forward.
• Collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and confidence in asking questions, seeking clarification, and working with subject matter experts.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansys.
• Knowledge of boiler structures, materials, welding technology, or pressure vessels.
