R&D Engineer

Location: Hybrid role based at hirify.global's HQ in Tampere, Finland, with at least three days per week onsite.

What you will do

• Support product concepting and identify new technologies for workplace pod development.
• Create working prototypes and apply innovative solutions to hirify.global products.
• Ensure practical design for manufacturing and mass production.
• Follow developments in mechanical engineering and apply relevant features to new products.
• Work independently with the Product Development team and collaborate with experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Background in mechanical engineering.
• Fluency in English and Finnish.
• Interest in developing skills with modern design and simulation tools.
• Interest in practical design for manufacturing and mass production.
• Self-oriented approach, strong ownership of tasks, and a proactive can-do attitude.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as a team player and grow in a changing environment.
• Creative problem-solving skills for new product development.
