Electrical Designer II (Chillers)

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States. Monday through Thursday onsite with colleagues; Fridays offer flexibility in work location based on work requirements. Overnight travel to various US locations may be required.

Annual base salary range: $49,400.00–$87,639.99. Compensation type: exempt hourly.

What you will do

• Design and document electrical systems for water-cooled and air-cooled chiller products using computer design and product lifecycle management systems.
• Create schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, parts documentation, and bills of materials.
• Apply design and drafting standards, methods, and processes based on engineering instructions, procedures, drawings, schematics, and sketches.
• Lead small segments of larger projects, complete assigned work, identify potential design problems, and correct errors.
• Maintain proficiency with computer-aided graphic systems and related applications through company training.
• Support manufacturing, product quality, performance, continuous improvement, and occasional personnel training or product support at US locations.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Design, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline is required, or at least 4 years of work experience using computer-aided graphic solutions may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Pro Engineer, or CAD/AutoCAD.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday and select a work location on Fridays according to work requirements.
• Ability to travel overnight to various US locations when required.
• Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures.
