VP & GM: Product Platform (Fintech)

Location: Fully remote, South Africa

hirify.global develops digital banking fraud prevention, payment security, mobile authentication, mobile app security, and 3D Secure products for financial institutions, issuers, acquirers, and payment networks.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, business performance, cost, investment, and value-capture model for the hirify.global Platform, including Portal, Administration, Reporting, and Detection & Decisioning.
• Define a vision for reusable platform building blocks and drive adoption across portfolio solutions through integration targets, usage goals, and time-to-integrate measures.
• Remove technical debt, integration friction, packaging, pricing, and awareness barriers that limit platform adoption.
• Build the platform go-to-market motion through enablement, documentation, migration support, and adoption success stories.
• Balance competing product-line needs, make transparent roadmap and investment trade-offs, and represent Platform in executive and portfolio planning forums.
• Build and lead product management, and potentially design and engineering partnerships, for the platform components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Leadership, or a related technology product discipline, including significant senior product leadership experience.
• Experience owning product strategy, roadmaps, and business performance for complex B2B technology, SaaS, or platform products.
• Experience building or scaling platform products or shared capabilities consumed by multiple products, solutions, or product teams.
• Track record of driving platform adoption and measurable usage by removing technical, integration, commercial, and organisational barriers.
• Experience balancing multiple product-line requirements and making transparent roadmap, investment, and prioritisation trade-offs.
• Experience developing business cases, investment models, and value-capture approaches, with strong commercial and financial judgement.
• Experience managing product health and performance measures covering adoption, usage, reliability, performance, and stakeholder or customer satisfaction.
• Experience partnering with Engineering and technical leadership on architecture, integration, technical debt, and platform scalability, influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority, and building and leading product teams.

• Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA, a relevant Master’s degree, or equivalent executive or business education.
