Data Analyst (Power BI)

Location: Fully remote and based in the Philippines; third-shift schedule required

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards and reports supporting shipboard operations and product analytics.
• Translate requirements from IT Product Analysts and Product Owners into clear, functional dashboards.
• Export, prepare, manipulate, and transform data using available sources and Power Query.
• Perform basic SQL queries, validate data, and support Power BI connections and reporting accuracy.
• Review dashboards, improve usability and performance, manage refreshes, and troubleshoot common reporting issues.
• Document dashboard logic, data sources, refresh processes, and usage instructions; provide user support and collaborate with global cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of professional experience in Power BI, data visualization, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI dashboards.
• Experience with data exports, preparation, and basic transformations for reporting and visualization; working knowledge of Power Query.
• Basic SQL knowledge for understanding data sources, querying data, and supporting Power BI connections.
• Ability to troubleshoot dashboard issues and perform routine reporting and data optimization.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, including the ability to explain dashboard functionality and data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple dashboards and competing priorities, work independently, and collaborate with global and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and willingness and ability to work a third-shift schedule are required.

• Experience supporting business operations, product analytics, or operational reporting.
• Familiarity with dashboard performance optimization and data refresh troubleshooting.
• Experience working with global teams across different time zones.
• Familiarity with shipboard operations, cruise line operations, or hospitality analytics.
• Experience maintaining dashboard and reporting documentation.
• Knowledge of Power BI visualization best practices and dashboard usability principles.
