Global Freight Cost Controller

What you will do

• Analyze freight spend, cost drivers, trends, and opportunities across assigned transport flows.
• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual freight cost forecasts.
• Own the accuracy and timely delivery of freight cost reporting.
• Develop and maintain cost metrics and dashboards using freight expenditure data.
• Partner with stakeholders to validate business cases and quantify benefits from cost-reduction initiatives.
• Improve reporting, financial control, and invoice management processes for greater efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• More than 5 years of experience in a cost control role, preferably in a large international company.
• Advanced competence in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Spotfire.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate cost drivers and savings opportunities into actionable improvements.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
• Leadership, cultural awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to perform under high pressure and challenging timelines.
