Manager, NGSS Product Design (AI)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid working model with a minimum expectation of two days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design across complex product experiences and interconnected workstreams, translating user needs, business priorities, product and data requirements, and technical capabilities into cohesive experience direction.
• Define interaction patterns, information architecture, and design-system applications for scalable and consistent experiences.
• Lead the design of AI-enabled and human-agent experiences while balancing usability, transparency, user trust, uncertainty, and appropriate human control.
• Guide design execution from discovery and early concepts through engineering implementation, ensuring quality and coherence.
• Define research approaches, lead research and usability testing, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into product and design recommendations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, AI/ML, business stakeholders, and other functions to shape priorities, scope, trade-offs, and reusable design capabilities; guide or mentor other designers as needed.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in product design, technology, or a related field, including significant experience leading complex product experiences or interconnected workstreams.
• Experience contributing to product and experience strategy for complex, data-rich, or AI-powered digital products, including AI/ML-enabled features or products.
• Deep expertise in modern product design methods, systems, and tooling, with strong strategic and systems thinking.
• Experience guiding or mentoring other designers; direct management experience is a plus.
• Experience working in agile product development environments.
• Experience using GenAI-powered design, prototyping, and product development tools such as Figma, Miro, Claude Design, Claude Code, Cursor, v0, or GitHub.
• Strong planning, prioritization, leadership, coaching, communication, and decision-making skills, including the ability to create clarity in ambiguous environments and anticipate dependencies, risks, and capacity needs.
• Ability to evaluate emerging AI capabilities, tools, and interaction models and translate relevant advances into improved design approaches and ways of working.

Nice to have

• Experience designing complex human-agent interactions or AI-enabled workflows.
• Direct management experience.
