Cybersecurity Engineer – Vulnerability Management

Location: Fort Worth, Texas; hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite; onsite interview required

Pay rate: $50–$55 per hour

What you will do

• Align cybersecurity initiatives, projects, resources, risks, and delivery with corporate objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Report project risks, security operations status, compliance effectiveness, and KPIs to senior and executive leadership.
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and regulations and develop security governance frameworks.
• Integrate physical security measures with cybersecurity protocols and implement secure communication strategies.
• Oversee SOC operations, including monitoring capabilities, tools, technologies, and response processes.
• Design threat detection and incident response protocols and mentor cybersecurity professionals through training and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, CIS/MIS, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience and training.
• 3–5 years of experience in Vulnerability Management.
• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• 3–5 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments.
• 3–5 years of professional design and open-source experience.
