Manager, Cybersecurity- Strategy & Management Consulting

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY, United States. Consultants may work onsite at client locations; between engagements, work from a hirify.global office or approved coworking location at least three days per week. Candidates should live within reasonable commuting distance of a hirify.global office or approved coworking location.

Base salary: $150,000–$185,000 annually, plus an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies aligned with business objectives and consulting services.
• Lead cybersecurity consulting engagements and manage, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Drive cybersecurity business development and key account expansion in the New York City market.
• Coordinate go-to-market initiatives, staffing, delivery management, hiring, performance evaluation, and retention.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and strategic stakeholders and deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies, report on initiatives, participate in major trade shows, and pursue relevant cybersecurity clearances.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity and management consulting, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven business development and client relationship management experience in the New York City market.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices, including NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
• Experience with risk management, incident response, and security operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients and build strong relationships.

• Master's degree.
• Relevant certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
