AI Security Engineer

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76155, United States; in-person interview required.

Pay range: $60–$65 per hour.

What you will do

• Design and implement security controls for AI/ML and Generative AI applications.
• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews of AI solutions.
• Protect AI systems against prompt injection, data leakage, model poisoning, and adversarial attacks.
• Secure AI/ML pipelines, APIs, cloud environments, and MLOps platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and security teams throughout the AI lifecycle.
• Develop AI security standards, governance frameworks, and monitoring capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering or application security experience.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs including OpenAI GPT, Gemini, Claude, and Llama, and AI security concepts.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Proficiency in Python and security automation.
• Experience with DevSecOps, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.

Nice to have

• AI/ML security experience.
• CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security, or AI-related certifications.
• Knowledge of MLOps, Responsible AI, and AI Governance frameworks.
