MuleSoft Platform Operations Engineer (MuleSoft)

hirify.global is hiring for a MuleSoft platform operations role in an international environment.

What you will do

• Provide daily L3 operational support for the MuleSoft platform, managing capacity, performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Handle L2 escalated tickets, resolve incidents within SLA timelines, perform initial root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support major incidents, service restoration, deployments, releases, and production changes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts, identify recurring issues, and drive service improvements and risk mitigation.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
• Coordinate with internal and external providers, stakeholders, and international teams through workshops and technical information synthesis.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in MuleSoft platform management, focused on platform operations rather than API development.
• Experience with Terraform, GitHub, OpenShift, and Argo CI/CD.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and OpenID, plus foundational AWS and Azure knowledge.
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and processes.
• Technical communication, stakeholder management, influence management, and experience in multicultural environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent relevant field.
• English at C1 level (CEFR) minimum is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDL, WS-*, Java, and JSON.
• MuleSoft Omni Gateway (Flex Gateway) expertise.
• Network fundamentals, including virtual IPs, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Certificate lifecycle management experience.
• User-level experience with Postman and SOAPUI.
• Linux environment experience and knowledge of Silva.
