IT Project Manager (Asset Data)

What you will do

• Lead the Asset Data Improvement project through mobilisation, design, and successful completion of the design phase.
• Develop and maintain the project plan, including milestones, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and deliverables.
• Coordinate business, technical, supplier, and external stakeholders across multiple workstreams.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, resolve dependencies, and support design decisions.
• Manage actions, decisions, risks, issues, change requests, governance, controls, and project documentation.
• Report progress, scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and key decisions to senior stakeholders, project boards, and executive sponsors, while supporting transition into implementation.

Requirements

• Strong project management experience delivering data, information management, asset data, or business change initiatives.
• Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively with technical SMEs and specialist teams without requiring deep hands-on technical expertise.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and coordinating external deliverables with internal project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver successfully within tight deadlines and high-profile environments.
• Confidence presenting project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Strong organisation, governance, risk, issue, and dependency management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive proactive decision-making.
