Software Architect (Java/TypeScript/C#)

Typical compensation is €5,500–€7,000 per month, plus a bonus based on monthly billing and potential company-success bonuses.

What you will do

• Define the architecture and technical direction of systems built with Java, TypeScript, and C#.
• Guide development teams, ensure architectural decisions are implemented, and contribute hands-on to software development when needed.
• Design event-driven and API-based integration architectures, including data flows, system-to-system communication, and real-time and batch integrations.
• Modernize large-scale enterprise systems using containers, microservices, APIs, and integration architectures.
• Design for high availability, business continuity, resilience, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
• Translate business objectives into technical roadmaps and sustainable solutions in collaboration with customers, Product Owners, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Deep experience in TUVE environments or other secure processing and integration environments with different security classifications.
• At least 10 years of broad software development experience, including at least 5 years in software or information systems architecture roles.
• Ability to provide technical leadership, challenge existing architectures constructively, and integrate architectural decisions into daily development.
• Experience with business-critical or security-critical systems and highly secure operating environments.
• Experience designing architectures for high availability, continuity, resilience, fault tolerance, and recovery.
• Strong hands-on experience designing Java-, TypeScript-, or C#-based information systems, with the technical depth to assess implementation-level solutions.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes environments and container networking solutions.
• Experience modernizing large-scale existing systems.
• Willingness to commit to a long-term client project as the primary assignment.
• Flexibility to work, when required by the project, at customer premises and in security-classified environments.
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English.
