Senior Merchandise Operations Assistant (Beauty Category)

What you will do

• Maintain accurate product, purchase-order and inventory information across systems, trackers and databases.
• Create, update and reconcile purchase orders, invoices, deliveries and inventory records.
• Coordinate with buyers, merchandisers, planners, suppliers, warehouse, logistics, finance, content and creative teams.
• Monitor inbound shipments and resolve delivery discrepancies, shortages, overages and damaged merchandise.
• Support receipts, cancellations, vendor returns, transfers, supplier onboarding and vendor documentation.
• Prepare reports and identify improvements to data quality, reporting and merchandising administration efficiency.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in merchandising administration, buying administration, retail operations or a similar role, preferably in fashion or luxury retail.
• Experience supporting or coordinating merchandising processes in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of purchase-order management, product lifecycle, inventory control and retail operations.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience reviewing data and administrative work and providing guidance to colleagues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including managing and analysing large data sets.
• Experience with ERP, merchandising, inventory-management or order-processing systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; fluency in English is required.
