IT Systems Engineer

Location: On-site in the San Francisco office, United States; relocation support available

Base salary: $150,000–$210,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the Mac fleet lifecycle, including purchasing, inventory, enrollment, setup, patching, encryption, and secure recovery.
• Manage identity and SaaS access across Google Workspace, SSO, and MFA, including permissions, reviews, and revocation.
• Run onboarding, role changes, and offboarding with timely device and access provisioning.
• Keep the San Francisco office operational across Wi-Fi, meeting rooms, hardware, software, and vendors.
• Use agents and automation for provisioning, support triage, access requests, and repetitive administration.
• Maintain endpoint controls, test recovery access, support security investigations and audit evidence, and build self-service tools and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience managing macOS devices, identity, SaaS tools, and office networks.
• Experience building useful scripts, integrations, or automations that improve IT workflows.
• Comfort using AI tools to build and troubleshoot, with sound judgment about permissions, secrets, and when to involve a person.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and support colleagues with patience and care.
• Ability to work on-site from the San Francisco office.
