PL/SQL Developer

Location: Hybrid in Porto, Portugal, with office attendance two days per week. Candidates must be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Design and develop robust, well-structured database applications using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Understand business needs and translate them into effective database solutions.
• Participate in testing, application support, and smooth day-to-day operations.
• Provide on-call support for ongoing application operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience as a Database Developer with strong Oracle PL/SQL expertise.
• Strong ability to understand business needs, with a critical mindset and proactive approach.
• Solid experience designing and developing robust, well-structured database applications.
• Hands-on experience with testing, application support, and day-to-day operations.
• Availability for on-call activities as part of ongoing application support.
• Experience with code versioning, CI/CD tools, and Test-Driven Development.
• Comfort working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English at B2 level.
• Availability for hybrid work two days per week in Porto, with residence in Portugal and Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
