Senior Android Developer (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Android application functionality for a large-scale banking and lending platform using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Build modern UIs and integrate Android applications with backend services through REST APIs.
• Implement asynchronous and reactive functionality with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
• Apply MV* architectural approaches, design patterns, OOP, SOLID principles, and engineering practices while avoiding common anti-patterns.
• Investigate performance and memory-related issues and write clean, maintainable, and extensible code.
• Participate in code reviews, engineering discussions, CI/CD processes, and collaboration with other engineers.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose.
• Strong practical knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and Jetpack Components.
• Good understanding and practical application of Android application architecture and MV architectural approaches.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, SOLID principles, common design patterns, and software anti-patterns.
• Experience integrating Android applications with backend services via REST APIs.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and experience with Git and Jira.
• Basic understanding of memory leaks, their causes, and investigation approaches.
• Experience participating in code reviews and working as part of a development team.
• Ability to write clean, readable, maintainable code with strong collaboration and communication skills.
