What you will do

• Support software engineers in developing software products and solutions through technical guidance, code reviews, and technical support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and support successful software delivery.
• Mentor team members through feedback, coaching, and career development planning.
• Contribute to software engineering strategy, strategic discussions, and technology assessments.
• Manage project assignments, timelines, resource allocation, budgets, risks, and issue resolution.
• Promote innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically 6+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2+ years in a similar role and experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one software language and development methodologies.
• Strong programming and debugging skills.
• Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
• Good communication, teamwork, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a related field.
• Relevant certifications or training.
