CDD Analyst (Fintech)

Location: New York City, United States; onsite

Annual US base salary: $100,000–$150,000 plus equity

hirify.global is building a modern correspondent bank with a national bank charter and Marble, a proprietary AI-native core banking system designed to automate banking operations.

What you will do

• Own customer due diligence end to end for individuals and legal entities, including onboarding, CIP, document review, beneficial ownership certification, risk ratings, and periodic reviews.
• Run enhanced due diligence on high-risk customers, complex ownership structures, and FBO relationships.
• Prepare high-risk cases for the High-Risk Customer Review Committee with complete documentation and no rework.
• Improve review-agent prompts and identify where the Bank’s customer risk-rating methodology or agents produce incorrect results.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to automate onboarding and reviews within Compliance-approved regulatory limits.
• Handle event-driven reviews, exceptions, and complex cases as agents take over standard onboarding and periodic reviews.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience, preferably at a top-tier consultancy, high-bar startup, or as Chief of Staff to a founder.
• Based in New York City and willing to work onsite.
• Experience with customer due diligence, CIP/CDD, beneficial ownership review, customer risk ratings, and enhanced due diligence.
• Ability to assess high-risk customers, complex ownership structures, and FBO relationships.
• Evidence of faster-than-standard promotion or expanded scope.
• Experience building automations, tools, or workflows used by others, including SQL, scripting, or AI tools.
• Degree from a top-tier university.
• First-principles reasoning, diligence, strong documentation, ownership, and willingness to challenge inefficient or incorrect processes.
• Ability to work effectively in an evolving, automation-driven process and make independent judgments on files that may be reviewed by examiners.
