Android Developer (Fintech)

Location: Worldwide; the role is not available in certain regions.

Salary: EUR 800–2,000 per month gross; final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Android functionality for a digital banking SuperApp, including external partner integrations.
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, networking, authentication, data transformation, error handling, and related business logic.
• Build scalable and maintainable Android components according to established architectural standards.
• Collaborate with backend developers on API contracts and integration flows.
• Write unit and UI tests, participate in code reviews, and investigate functional, performance, and integration issues across Android versions and devices.
• Work with QA, Android, Java, DevOps, and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial Android development experience using Kotlin.
• Experience working on banking and fintech solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern Android development practices.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs and external third-party services.
• Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar mobile application architecture approaches.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming, networking, JSON serialization, and error handling.
• Experience with Git, Gradle, dependency management, CI/CD, and Android application release processes.
• Understanding of mobile security, secure data storage, authentication, and protection of sensitive financial information.
• Experience with unit/UI testing, debugging, performance optimization, and supporting applications across Android versions and devices.
• English at Intermediate+ level or above.
