Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: 811 Excellence Dr, Bentonville, AR 72716, United States; onsite role.

Salary: $90,000–$180,000/year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives.

What you will do

• Deliver scoped features and software or ML components across services, APIs, user interfaces, and supporting systems.
• Write, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain reliable software throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Integrate AI agents and ML components through internal and external APIs and use GenAI development tools.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions; participate in design reviews, apply design patterns, and provide technical mentorship.
• Define customer problems, technical requirements, success metrics, and test cases with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Own application performance, monitoring, defect resolution, system uptime, delivery milestones, and continuous engineering improvement.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus 1 year of software engineering or related experience; or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 3 years of such experience.
• Experience managing and querying data with Cosmos DB and designing storage solutions using Azure SQL Database and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience administering Oracle databases with DBeaver, DB2, or TOAD, including SQL/PLSQL development, performance, security, availability, Data Guard, and Exadata.
• Experience with Splunk and Grafana for application monitoring.
• Experience developing Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts, hosting applications on Azure VMs and Docker containers, and orchestrating microservices with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting, automation, system administration, Spring Batch processing, TDD, Swagger APIs, and autogenerated REST API documentation.
• Experience mapping customer requirements, creating component and module test cases, and handling software development support, problem management, and change-management releases.
• Experience providing L2/L3 customer support through ITSM and ServiceNow ticketing systems in accordance with SLAs.
