Senior Software Engineer (iOS)

Salary: $90,000–$180,000/year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives

What you will do

• Analyze requirements, classify functional and non-functional needs, identify risks, and create user stories.
• Design application components and convert high-level designs into detailed functional logic, mock screens, and pseudocode.
• Develop and configure software components that meet business, security, availability, scalability, and maintainability requirements.
• Build automation scripts for CI/CD, testing, releases, and repetitive operational tasks; implement telemetry.
• Create and execute test cases, manage defects, perform regression testing, and troubleshoot performance and availability bottlenecks.
• Monitor applications, perform maintenance and re-engineering, evaluate change requests, and track project milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of software engineering or related experience; or a relevant master’s degree plus 1 year of experience.
• Experience developing iOS/macOS applications with Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C.
• Experience with MVC, MVVM, MVVM-C, and Clean Architecture patterns, including developing and publishing individual or universal iOS/macOS applications from a single codebase.
• Experience with UIKit, Core Data, CoreLocation, Alamofire or AFNetworking, and persistence technologies including SQLite, Realm, Firebase, Parse, UserDefaults, or Plist.
• Experience integrating SOAP/REST APIs with JSON/XML, developing custom UI, and performing end-to-end integration and testing.
• Experience with App Store and Play Store submission, app releases using one-click shell-script automation, and XCTest/XCUITest.
• Experience leading and mentoring mobile teams, conducting code reviews, creating detailed plans, setting timelines, and managing agile delivery.
• Experience with advanced UI features such as SMS threading, themes, filters, accessibility, and localization, plus documentation in Confluence or copy decks.
