IT Audit, Cybersecurity & Risk Senior Consultant (SOC focus)

Location: Frisco, Texas, USA; hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: $82,00–$132,900 per year.

What you will do

• Work with client executives and management to identify, assess, and manage financial, operational, and technology risks.
• Assess IT strategy and governance, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, business continuity, disaster recovery, third-party risk, ITGC, application controls, and SOC reporting.
• Review processes and controls against industry frameworks, identify design and execution gaps, and communicate recommendations.
• Develop audit programs, execute internal audits and IT control assessments, and prepare executive summaries and final reports.
• Build client relationships, advise on process and control improvements, and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
• Support team development, knowledge sharing, networking, and ongoing professional education.

Requirements

• Four-year degree required.
• Three years of experience required.
• Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in management or computer information systems, computer science, accounting information systems, computer engineering, industrial engineering, or a related program.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, or CPA certification.
• Three or more years of experience with control testing, SOC reporting, IT audit, or cybersecurity.
• Cloud audit experience and certifications.
• Experience serving clients at a consulting firm.
