Software Engineer (Data & Clinical AI)

What you will do

• Develop the data lakehouse and warehouse with secure, scalable pipelines supporting analytics and machine learning.
• Improve data modeling, workflow orchestration, data quality, and platform scalability as products and clients grow.
• Create LLM-enabled tools and frameworks for self-serve data analysis, clinical case review, trend discovery, and opportunity identification.
• Build pipelines and data models that monitor KPIs and clinical AI model performance across clients and clinical modules using heterogeneous real-time EHR data.
• Define company-wide product success metrics and ensure the underlying data is trustworthy.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, clinical, product, and client success teams to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or another relevant technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience building scalable, secure data or analytics infrastructure on a cloud platform, preferably AWS, for live products and customers.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Deep knowledge of modern data and analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses, transformation frameworks such as dbt, workflow orchestration tools, and BI tools such as Tableau or QuickSight.
• Ability to integrate modern data and analytics technologies with existing infrastructure.
• Experience leveraging LLMs in distributed data processing and analytics systems.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience securely handling sensitive PHI/PII data.

• Experience building analytics technology for clinical or health data.
• Experience handling ambiguity and uncertainty in a startup.
