What you will do

• Supervise execution of the internal audit plan and lead or conduct financial, compliance, and operational audit projects.
• Examine and evaluate the adequacy of internal controls.
• Perform Sarbanes–Oxley controls testing for design and effectiveness, ensuring evidence supports audit conclusions.
• Conduct operational audits and review Staff Auditor work.
• Compile audit documentation for the Audit Committee and bank regulators.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Internal Audit Department and COSO component documentation and testing.

Requirements

• Experience conducting or supporting financial, compliance, or operational audits.
• Ability to test internal control design and effectiveness and assess whether evidence supports conclusions.
• Ability to review audit work and prepare documentation for audit committees and bank regulators.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes–Oxley compliance and COSO components.
