Technical Program Manager (Quantum Technology)

Location: Santa Clara, CA; travel required 20% of the time; relocation is not available.

Salary: $192,000.00–$264,000.00 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the quantum program strategy, roadmap, operating model, governance framework, processes, and resource plans.
• Direct and mentor program and project managers and process engineers across a complex portfolio of initiatives.
• Guide projects from concept definition and roadmap development through implementation, deployment, and commercialization readiness.
• Develop integrated master plans, schedules, milestones, status reporting, and data-driven governance.
• Coordinate internal, external, and matrixed stakeholders across engineering, operations, business, customers, suppliers, and strategic collaborators.
• Manage risks, dependencies, resources, prioritization, execution quality, and continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Requirements

• Relevant quantum technology, industry, and technical program management background.
• Broad and comprehensive understanding of systems, theories, practices, and the changing business environment.
• In-depth knowledge of the relevant function, business, and commercial practices.
• Experience leading a business unit, department, or sub-function through multiple levels of managers and diverse activities.
• Ability to develop and execute functional strategy, direct innovative solutions, and influence or negotiate at top executive levels.
• Ability to present and defend complicated or delicate issues and drive outcomes aligned with company strategy and business objectives.
• Ability to travel 20% of the time and work from Santa Clara, California.
