Founding Designer (Fintech)

Location: On-site in New York City, United States

Salary: $180K–$220K base depending on experience, plus equity and benefits.

Meow provides startups with business accounts, corporate cards, and financial reporting for complex and global businesses, including crypto and multi-entity international companies.

What you will do

• Own design for the Meow web app.
• Design the internal admin app used by operations and support teams.
• Own the brand, marketing site, social direction, and blog visuals.
• Design complex financial workflows covering payments, approvals, and treasury.
• Build and maintain a design system across product and brand surfaces.
• Partner day to day with the engineering team and set the design standard as the team grows.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience, including time as a senior or lead designer at a startup or fast-moving team.
• A portfolio of shipped, complex B2B work demonstrating design thinking rather than only final screens.
• Experience across both product and brand design, including dense dashboards and converting landing pages.
• Ability to work as the only designer.
