Associate Cyber AI Engineer

Location: Remote within the US; mandatory onsite Trailhead onboarding at hirify.global headquarters once per quarter, with travel and accommodations covered.

Salary: $75,500–$96,000 per year, plus performance-based incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain AI agents that triage, enrich, correlate, and help resolve security alerts and tickets.
• Develop and test LLM-assisted investigation workflows, case summaries, and response recommendations.
• Connect AI agents to security tools through APIs and the Model Context Protocol using least-privilege access.
• Build auditable decision trails for automated actions, including auto-close and auto-remediation, and measure accuracy, time saved, and escalations.
• Build, maintain, and monitor pipelines that onboard, parse, normalize, enrich, mask, and route security telemetry.
• Support incident troubleshooting, partner with Cyber Operations analysts, and document architectures and workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT, identity, or cyber engineering.
• Working proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language.
• Experience building with AI or LLM tools and with IT or cybersecurity automation.
• Familiarity with security data, logging, or SIEM platforms.
• Ability to explain automated decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to handle health and financial data in line with HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST requirements.
