Cloud Security Engineer - Azure Defender/Prisma Cloud/Cortex Cloud

Location: Remote in select geographic locations in the United States, subject to hirify.global approval; work must be performed from a quiet, secure, confidential home workspace, with occasional in-office participation potentially required.

Salary: $91,000.00–$202,800.00 base salary per year; incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Enable partners to test and evaluate CNAPP capabilities from Cortex Cloud and reduce cloud security tool sprawl.
• Own vendor relationships with Azure, AWS, and Palo Alto, including issue escalation, accountability, and quarterly business reviews.
• Own the Cloud Security control ZEC018, review control efficacy, identify gaps, and propose or retire controls as appropriate.
• Provide and automate recurring control-attestation evidence.
• Develop Microsoft Power BI dashboards showing Azure and AWS configuration violations, usage statistics, and business insights.
• Work with architecture and operational partners to design, implement, document, transition, and support cloud security solutions in production.

Requirements

• University or college degree, typically a bachelor's degree, or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
• Technical understanding of CNAPP, security controls, and dashboard development.
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud security platform or CNAPP involving AWS, Azure, or Palo Alto is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and advance CNAPP enablement, vendor relationship ownership, security control ownership, and dashboard development.
• Strong relationship-building, customer-understanding, communication, influence, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of information security, cybersecurity, data security, endpoint security, incident response, network security, vulnerability management, security operations, IT standards, and IT systems management.
• No required certifications or licenses.
