Senior Manager, Cybersecurity - Strategy & Management Consulting

Location: Hybrid role based in New York City, United States; consultants work from a hirify.global office or approved coworking location at least three days per week between client engagements and may be required to work onsite at client locations. Candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance of a hirify.global office or approved coworking location.

Base salary: $190,000–$210,000 annually, plus annual performance and personal sales bonuses.

What you will do

• Develop cybersecurity strategies aligned with business objectives and consulting services.
• Lead cybersecurity consulting engagements and manage delivery excellence, staffing, and client solutions.
• Drive business development and service expansion in the New York City market, including go-to-market initiatives.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and strategic stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, hire, develop, evaluate, and retain cybersecurity talent.
• Track emerging threats and technologies, prepare reports for senior stakeholders, participate in major cybersecurity trade shows, and drive relevant cybersecurity clearances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity and management consulting, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Business development and client relationship management experience in the New York City market.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices, including NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
• Experience with risk management, incident response, and security operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification.
• Master’s degree.
