Environmental Engineering Specialist (Water Stewardship)

Location: On-site in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States; work at the hirify.global Center at least four days per week. Travel may include up to 20% domestic and international travel. Relocation may be authorized.

Compensation: $145,676–$178,049, including base pay and variable incentive pay where eligible.

What you will do

• Evaluate water discharge programs, processes, and technologies at global hirify.global manufacturing facilities.
• Support area and site EHS colleagues and engage with water regulatory agencies when needed.
• Provide strategic direction and subject matter expertise on water stewardship and compliance.
• Develop and validate standard work, tools, and programs for water management with area EHS teams.
• Collaborate with corporate and site EHS, engineering, R&D, legal affairs, and external stakeholders to implement best practices and environmental technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline, completed and verified before starting.
• At least 10 years of environmental or engineering experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship, including H-1B sponsorship.
• Ability to work on-site at the hirify.global Center in Maplewood at least four days per week.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Combined expertise in water distribution, treatment, and optimization.
• Experience with global, regional such as U.S. or Asia, and/or state environmental regulations, permits, and regulatory compliance strategies for manufacturing facilities.
• Experience in process engineering, design engineering, project management, and/or manufacturing or production.
