Clinical Systems Business Analyst (Veeva ClinOps)

What you will do

• Support the Clinical Trial Management, Monitoring, and Engagement product team as a technical subject-matter expert for the Veeva ClinOps suite.
• Gather, refine, and document business and non-functional requirements, user stories, business process maps, technical and functional requirements, and test plans.
• Capture customer needs, define business processes and product requirements, and maintain accurate configuration, process, and change documentation.
• Analyze Veeva version upgrades, assess their impact, refine product and release backlogs, and ensure requirements are prioritized.
• Partner with architects, Product Managers, Technical Product Owners, developers, vendors, business partners, and hirify.global IT teams to plan and deliver software solutions.
• Develop business cases for digital innovation opportunities, execute product demonstrations, and provide feedback to ensure delivered software meets requirements.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or a master’s degree with 4–6 years of experience, bachelor’s degree with 6–8 years of experience, or diploma with 10–12 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience with the Veeva ClinOps suite of applications.
• Experience with the SAFe Framework and Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience writing requirements for modern web applications, including user requirements and acceptance criteria in agile project management systems such as JIRA.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex challenges in drug discovery with technology.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with global virtual teams.
• Strong analytical, gap and fit assessment, verbal and written communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to provide oversight and mentoring, delegate work, show initiative and self-motivation, and contribute to team goals.

Nice to have

• Expertise in a scientific domain and related technology needs, or understanding of scientific software systems strategy, governance, and infrastructure.
• Experience with the Veeva Risk Based Validation tool or Jira Align.
• Technical thought leadership and the ability to communicate complex technical subjects in business terms.
• Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
• SAFe for Teams certification.
