Mid-Level Finance Reporting Business Analyst

Location: Porto, Portugal; hybrid work with up to 2 remote days per week. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in Europe.

Salary: €3,360–€4,200 gross/month under B2B or €1,900–€2,200 net/month under a permanent contract.

What you will do

• Create and modify SQL queries for on-demand data extraction and automate reporting processes.
• Investigate data issues and lead their resolution.
• Gather user needs and translate them into functional specifications.
• Manage priorities, milestones, and project deliverables.
• Oversee developers, coordinate testing and User Acceptance Testing, and support application integration and user training.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on reporting and solution delivery.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience gathering requirements and writing functional specifications.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Practical knowledge of Excel.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Fluent English.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a goal-oriented approach and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
• Existing legal right to work in Europe.
