Senior Actuarial Analyst (Life & Health)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD $114,000–$125,000 base salary annually

What you will do

• Investigate Swiss Stat reserve movements for the US Traditional Life business and translate complex results into clear, concise stakeholder insights.
• Produce timely and accurate Swiss Stat reporting, including the Quarterly Reserve Walk, annual Margin Analysis, FINMA Walk, Plan projections, and ORSA sensitivities.
• Identify and implement improvements that streamline valuation and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions, markets, and locations to communicate actuarial results clearly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of actuarial experience, ideally in valuation or financial reporting within Life & Health or a comparable actuarial role.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on time-sensitive projects.
