Communications Professional (Climate Policy)

What you will do

• Own social media content creation and execution for ICCT in Europe, with LinkedIn as the primary channel and potential future channels planned.
• Translate research, data, and expert input into social media formats including posts, articles, and carousels.
• Plan and manage the content calendar, monitor engagement, evaluate performance, and refine the content approach.
• Coordinate visual content production with in-house designers and freelancers while maintaining consistent messaging and design.
• Implement and contribute to social media strategy across owned channels and staff-driven amplification.
• Support digital communications through website and webinar content production.

Requirements

• Strong communication, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to understand complex materials and turn them into clear, structured narratives.
• Strong knowledge of social media trends, platforms, and engagement drivers.
• Ability to translate complex policy into high-level, clear messaging.
• Strong organizational skills, including managing a content calendar and consistently meeting deadlines.
• Comfort working with subject matter experts.
• Ability to coordinate freelancers or creative production.
• Experience or background in policy communications, public affairs, think tanks, journalism, or editorial work in technical domains.
