Senior iOS Engineer (AI)

hirify.global develops the Places mobile experience for its members.

What you will do

• Build and own core member-facing features across the Places iOS app.
• Define architectural patterns and best practices while solving client-side lifecycle and state-management problems.
• Partner with server engineering on API design, data correctness, and client-server state synchronization.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data science to scope, experiment with, and launch features, including detailed interaction, motion, and performance work.
• Improve performance, testing practices, and technical-debt management across a large, long-lived iOS codebase.
• Own production health through monitoring, crash triage, release quality, code review, mentorship, and written specifications.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional iOS development experience with strong proficiency in Swift, UIKit, and MVVM.
• Strong experience with RxSwift or similar reactive programming frameworks.
• Experience shipping consumer mobile apps to large audiences, with strong judgment in architecture, performance, and user experience.
• Strong consumer product sense, high design-quality standards, and the ability to partner with product, design, and data teams.
• Ability to lead projects from concept through launch, balance speed and quality, and own shipped work after release.
• Use AI coding tools daily, help the team adopt them, and identify opportunities to improve the engineering harness.

Nice to have

• Experience with StoreKit 2, subscriptions, paywall or pricing experiments, and subscription analytics.
• Experience with Mapbox or complex map-based interfaces.
• Familiarity with SwiftUI alongside UIKit and with modularizing a large iOS codebase.
• Experience with backend development, including APIs and services used by mobile clients.
• Experience with Redux-style state-management patterns.
