What you will do

• Develop complex IT architectures and provide strategic-technological advice to banking & financial services clients.
• Collaborate closely with customers on-site to translate business needs into high-quality software solutions.
• Technically manage development teams from kick-off to roll-out, aligning with project management.
• Lead, inspire, and mobilize project teams and customers with leadership skills.
• Coach team members in Software Engineering and Architecture and in agile principles.
• Contribute to the Zühlke network of experts and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in Software Architect roles, ideally in the banking & financial services industry.
• Knowledge in developing highly available and secure cloud solutions, microservices, and domain-driven design.
• Deep expertise in the banking and financial services domain, including regulatory and business requirements.
• Extensive experience in backend development (e.g., Java, Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL, Apache Kafka) and ideally frontend (e.g., Angular or React).
• Solid knowledge in DevOps/GitOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring) and security concepts (OAuth2, OIDC, authentication, authorization).
• Fluent in German and English (at least C1 level).
