Senior Technical Program Manager (Digital Health)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the Sandyford office and 2 days remote.

What you will do

• Lead large, complex software and platform programs across multiple engineering teams from concept through launch.
• Own integrated planning, governance, milestones, release strategies, dependencies, and execution.
• Align Product, Engineering, Architecture, UX, Quality, Clinical, Security, Operations, and business stakeholders with strategic priorities.
• Identify risks and trade-offs, drive timely decisions, and provide executive communications, program health reporting, and actionable insights.
• Influence roadmap planning and prioritization using customer outcomes, technical constraints, business priorities, and delivery data.
• Partner with engineering leaders on platform capabilities, APIs, cloud services, infrastructure, architecture, regulatory, privacy, and security requirements while improving Agile delivery practices and mentoring delivery professionals.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience leading complex software, platform, or digital product programs.
• Experience leading multiple cross-functional engineering teams through influence rather than direct authority.
• Experience delivering SaaS, cloud, mobile, API, or platform-based products.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and modern software development lifecycles.
• Clear communication with executives and effective stakeholder management across functions and organizational boundaries.
• Knowledge of risk and dependency management, financial trade-offs, and executive governance.
• Judgment to influence strategic decisions and lead effectively when priorities or paths forward are unclear.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Background in healthcare technology, digital health, regulated medical devices, global engineering organizations, platform modernization, cloud transformation, or enterprise-scale technical initiatives.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira, Plans, Confluence, Product Discovery, or AI-enabled delivery tools.
• PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master (PSM/CSM), SAFe, or an equivalent certification.
