Live Content Producer (Sports)

Location: Madrid, Spain; onsite live-broadcast role.

What you will do

• Prepare and organise editorial content for live sports programmes, ensuring materials are complete, accurate and broadcast-ready.
• Maintain programme rundowns and keep content in the correct running order in coordination with producers and editors.
• Write, check and update live captions, headlines and on-screen graphics in English.
• Follow match developments and sports news, identifying information required for live coverage.
• Respond quickly to breaking news, programme-order changes and last-minute editorial requests.
• Maintain accuracy across names, scores, statistics, grammar and sports terminology while coordinating with editorial and production colleagues.

Requirements

• Some practical experience in television, broadcasting or media, including internships, placements or junior roles involving content preparation, organisation or editorial coordination.
• Strong knowledge of football, including major leagues, competitions, teams and current news.
• Excellent written English and the ability to produce clear, concise and accurate text.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage several content elements or changing priorities.
• Ability to stay focused, communicate clearly and work efficiently during live broadcasts.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to learn and take on responsibility.
• Familiarity with programme rundowns, on-screen graphics or other live production tools.
• Basic video editing skills, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience creating or editing sports content for digital or social media platforms.
